Sperryville Mulling Spices

This blend is for the all the fall and winter season comforts with a little extra Sperryville Spice for daily use. 

A perfect blend to mull cider with along with red wine if you like. Or if you love a little cinnamon centric brew for the hydration water on your fireplace.  

Lovely pretty much any way. 

Our recipe for mulled wine: 

Combine the 1 bottle of wine, .5 cup of honey, .5 cup orange juice and 4 teaspoons of mulling spices in a large saucepan, bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.

Pour into mugs, add an orange peel to each and serve.

For mulled cider add 1/4 cup per 64 oz of cider.  Let brew on simmer for 20 minutes.  Sip in front of a fire on a chilly autumn night. 

Ingredients: Orange peel, Cinnamon, Cloves, Ginger Root, Spice berries and Allspice.

Size: 4 ounce /113 grams and each bag makes about 4 servings.
